Picnics over the weekend

5-27-06 I spoke with Kristen in Chicago this afternoon and asked if she would be taking Matt on a picnic for the Memorial Day Weekend. I was remembering all the picnics at state parks and on the road with Mother and Daddy, all the fried chicken, and Daddy cooking things on the grills with either a suit on or that jumpsuit leisure one piece thing he wore for holidays in warm weather. I was remembering how often we went for picnics, so that now as an adult, I equate spring and summer holidays with getting the sandwiches ready and going somewhere pretty to eat. On Monday, Vonnie and I will probably take our lunch to Marine Park to see the Sound and watch the waves. Maybe even a little beachcoming. Happy picnicing to everyone. Love, Llew
