Dunn Fall Pics

I haven't posted in a while and wanted to show some pics of what we've been up to in our spare time... haha... We went to a Fall Fest at a friend's house and Matt had a blast jumping in the leaves, and Steve & Matt joined in the pumpkin painting contest. Matt was Dale, Jr. for Halloween and had a really good time asking for candy. He still has most of it left since he only really likes M&M's. Matt sang in the Cherub Choir for the first time at church 2 Sundays ago, and as you can see by the pic, he really only used it as an opportunity to try and make the audience laugh... no singing was involved... haha...

With my work at the elementary and school in the evenings, I feel very overwhelmed on most days, but I realized the other day that by the time I finish school, Matt will be almost 6. I decided that even though I feel so worn out most days, I need to make sure to pay attention to the little things and make sure that I have a good time with my kiddo so I don't miss it. I heard about the pontoon boat trip on Lake Murray, and I'm glad everyone had a good time. Only 48 days til Christmas break!!! Yeehaw!!!

  1. O.K., Matt is still totally and completely cute. And we really enjoy the pictures here, since especially at holidays, we miss the three of you. Have you seen pictures of all the flooding? Gruesome. We have two dry days coming, but then another storm coming in. The area where you lived looks pretty much like a lake. Makes us glad, right now, that you are in Chicago, where you can frolic in the leaves. Where are pictures of Kristen? Love, Llew

  2. Why in the world is Llew up at 3:00 a.m. looking at the blog? Anyway, I am glad she did. Do you have your emails set so you can see when someone posts to the blog? I did not get a message that Kristen posted, but I got the one this morning where Llew added a comment. Hotmail is slow sometimes to get everything mailed.

Pictures look wonderful. It looks like Chicago has a full blown fall. We don't get that in Texas. Did someone take a picture of you, Kristen? I hope you will post some of those also.

Our camera broke and I have not bought another one yet. Hope to buy one by Thanksgiving when we have company.

I sent pictures and video clips of the flooding from King5 TV and I think the Seattle Times (at least one of the newspapers) to Kristen, Chuck and Teri since it involves places they either lived or visited before the cruise.

Take care, and post, post, post! linsue

  3. A time explanation from Llew which is that it was only 1 a.m. here, because the blog posts on central time, two hours later from when we actually post because it's a CST blog. I was up looking at the election results, which I am quite heartened by. We won, in many, many elections, a thing I have not experienced for quite some time. Even though I am not as actively political in going to conventions and having caucuses and such and leafeting as I use to be, my mind is still tied to political positions and longing for the issues and party positions that I find most progressively forward leaning. See, political gobbeldygook. I hope that some positive change for all of us comes out of this election sweep. Love again, Llew
